TOKYO, JAPAN, 01 July 2022—As part of continuing efforts to strengthen its patient care platforms, global digital consultancy firm Monstarlab has appointed a seasoned medical practitioner as its Chief Health Officer (“CHO”).

In this role, Dr. Sukhmeet (“Suki”) Panesar will work with service designers, strategy and technology  teams to create patient-centric and citizen-centric digital healthcare solutions tailored to specific medical needs and support Monstarlab’s growth in health and life sciences.

“Building better health is a great leveller of society. The last two and a half  years have shown the power of digital transformation and what benefits this can bring to health and care staff, patients and citizens. We are now at the cusp of normalising digital within health systems but this needs to be done in a meaningful, empathic, and context-specific manner. Monstarlab can help you design and implement solutions that make every patient and staff encounter a joyous experience, one that results in palpable positive outcomes. At Monstarlab, we have the phenomenal ability to knit known and unknown technologies into a powerful offering for the health system,” he said

A graduate of the United Kingdom’s prestigious Imperial College and University of Edinburgh, Suki earned his degrees in medicine and surgery, followed by postgraduate specialisms in public health and patient safety, then took these areas of expertise to the corporate world. Suki has worked in healthcare, academia, and several other industries and organisations, which include NHS England, where he served as a Deputy Director in Strategy and Development across the domains of data, analytics and population health.

Among its array of diverse world-class services delivered to various clients across the globe, Monstarlab has partnered with China-based manufacturing firm, Angel Electronics, to improve the functionalities and device connectivity of the latter’s electronic infusion pumps used for palliative care in hospitals and pain-management facilities.

“Health is something personal to everyone on the planet, and Monstarlab is very much capable of creating tailor-fit consumer experiences. With Suki’s help, we will have a special opportunity to apply our skills and capabilities to improve people’s lives in the healthcare context,” said Mark Jones, Monstarlab’s Chief Operating Officer.
